Robert Weiner, D.M.D.
Dr. Weiner is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine and Temple University where he completed his Master’s degree and specialty residency in Prosthodontics. He was one of the first people to be trained in the current methods of dental implants in the country. He received his training directly from Dr. Per-Ingvar Branemark, considered to be the “Father Of Modern Implant Dentistry,” whose landmark and revolutionary research developed the dental implant systems that are in use today. Dr. Weiner was one of the first people to lecture at dental schools and conferences on dental implant techniques. He has lectured at over 10 dental schools in the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe. He was on the faculty to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and served as the director of the graduate Dental Implant Program for the Department of Periodontology specialty program at Temple University School of Dentistry. He has been a consultant to 8 dental implant manufacturing companies on the design and development of implants. Some of the design features used with every implant system were introduced by Dr. Weiner over 35 years ago. He has performed over 6,000 implant procedures. He is a charter member of the Academy of Osseointegration and has been a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, American Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. He has lectured throughout the world and at the major dental implant conferences. He has presented training and advanced continuing education courses to thousands of practicing dentists.
Dr. Marie Valentine Lim
Dr. Marie Valentine Lim has over 25 years of practice experience as well as academic affiliations. A graduate of Univ. of Penn Dental School in ’93 and post graduate training and Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington in 2000. She had been given faculty appointments at Penn Dental and Nova Southeastern University Dental School. She continues to teach and mentor pre-doctoral and post graduate students on their way to becoming future dentists and specialists at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She has served both as reviewer and published author in peer-reviewed journals and conducted numerous lectures and seminars for practicing dentists and students alike both in the US and overseas.
